Nancy Warren

Nancy Warren is a USA Today best-selling Harlequin and Kensington author who got her big break when she won Harlequin's 2000 Blaze Contest. Her sensuous, humorous romances have won numerous awards and appeared on the Waldenbooks bestseller list.

Awards and lists are great, but nothing beats the thrill of hearing from readers. Most have commented on how much they enjoy the mixture of humor and sexuality in Nancy's books—which is good, because she works darned hard to put them in there.

Nancy holds an honors degree in English literature and lives in the Pacific Northwest. She spends her days sensibly employed inventing men who combine amazing sexual prowess with sensitivity to a woman's needs, and women who aren't afraid to fight for their dreams.

THE TROUBLE WITH TWINS

Harlequin SuperRomance
December 2006

They have so much baggage between them they could open a store!

She's nearly broke and raising two kids on her own, thanks to her deadbeat ex. He's dealing with a pair of mischief-making twins still grieving the loss of their mother. To top it all off, as the CEO of her bank, he has the power to make or break her future.

But there is an undeniable connection between Melissa Theisen and Seth O'Reilly. And their children get along great. Bringing these two broken families together seems the next logical step.

But who ever heard of marrying for logic?

Nancy Warren's December '06 novel hits home on how tough life can be as a single parent but it also reminds us what a joy it is to have family and friends who are always ready to lend a hand.

Melissa and Seth are very well suited as a couple, with sparks of attraction visible from the moment they meet. The secondary characters of the children are a pure delight too. It's incredibly easy to fall into the story as the twins' antics leave the reader horrified yet quelling laughter at the same time. Alice's baby chatter and Matthew's personality stole my heart. Very cutely done.

Romance, tenderness, lessons on parenting and coming to terms with difficult issues like letting go of the past and learning to trust all over again are just some of the wonderful threads you'll find in this very absorbing and entertaining story.

Do pick up a copy of THE TROUBLE WITH TWINS before the end of this year. It's a great novel to curl up with.
