If this is the first you've heard about Leena's Goodie Room, it all started like this.... I've been addicted to reading novels since I was in my teens and love to discover new authors. I also love to collect goodies from authors ~ whether it's an autographed coverflat, bookplate, a bookmark or something fancy like a coffee mug or mouse pad.
I got the idea for the Goodie Room when I found myself sending out SASEs to dozens of authors each month for an autographed coverflat or bookmarks etc. I imagined how nice it would be to just send out one SASE and get back cool promotional material from 20 - 30 different authors at one time. I found other people who liked the idea too because we could all discover new authors we'd never read before. Anyway, to cut it short, an idea was born.
Heart Rate Reviews was the first website to house the Goodie Room and when they closed their doors, I parked it at Writerspace for a few years. But now, after finally getting the basic hang of how to organize a webpage, I've put up my own site and given my Goodie Room a permanent home. And here we are today!
There is no fee to be a contributing author to Leena's Goodie Room. It's a free service for Authors and Readers so I hope you'll all make use of it. I'll be adding to it as time goes on so please do stop by often to check out what's new.

Less Than Charmed...

Lee, I received my goodie bag today and it really put a big smile on my face! It's amazing how much you pack into the bag with so many cool items and some of them are quite useful. I know I'll be using them frequently and sharing with my friends as well. How exciting! I think your Goodie Room is the coolest and I really appreciate the time it must take you to put these bags together for us readers - and you do it for free. I think that's the best part.
